I’ve been nominated/tagged by Inge @ The Belgian Reviewer for this quotes challenge and as I love quotes, I thought well, this is right up my alley.
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Post a quote for three consecutive days.
3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.
For my third and last day, I’ve chosen this sentence I found in Rebecca Raisin’s The Little Bookshop on the Seine, which is a sequel to The Little Bookshop on the Corner, which I loved! I think I love the first book more than the second, but both are really good, in my opinion. But anyway, I digress. Here’s the quote, which I think all booklovers would be able to relate with 😀
“My to-be-read pile sadly would most likely outlive me – though I tried valiantly to catch up with it, I’d never get there. The allure of new books, new writers, characters who beckoned to me would never wane.”
My TBR pile is totally a testament to this. I have more books than I think I can read in this lifetime and I still want more books to add to my collection. Oh what a problem we booklovers have 🙂
For this last day, I’m going to break the rules a little bit by not listing the three new bloggers I want to tag, but instead I’ll just tag everyone reading this post. If you would like to do this tag, please do let me know when you’ve done it so I can go and check it out. ^^
