Weekly Wrap Up

Weekly Wrap Up – June 19th

Hello and welcome to my weekly wrap up where I wrap up my life in terms of general happenings, books that I’ve read for the past week, books that I’ve purchased or received for reviews, reviews and also other bookish posts that I’ve published on the blog.

I was told that I would get a new position as a Foreign Languages programme coordinator in my faculty and I’m not sure if I’m happy about that or not. Nothing is official yet so far but I’ve been told to prepare cos I will start in the new position in July. I’m bummed because I’ve actually been eyeing another position but since that said position is not available, I have to accept this one. Oh well, I’ll just do the best I can then. Wish me luck! 🙂

Somehow all the books I read this week is food/cafe/bakery-themed 😀

That’s all from me this week! Hope you’ll have a great week ahead😀

  1. Seems like you had a great reading week! I’ve read one of Holly Schindler’s books and really loved it! Here’s hoping you love Spark and all your other buys! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier. 😀 Have a great week!

  2. Congratulations and … not?… I hope the new job will be good, Shya! And you know I love foreign languages, and think anything and everything that has to do with languages must be awesome 😀
You got some great books this week, and I’m sure you’ll find many TT&HH quotes if you want to 🙂
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

    1. Thank you!! I love foreign languages too, so I hope I’ll like this position. I really need to find time to get back to doing TT&HH. Hopefully I’ll be able to do that this week 🙂

  3. Those covers are all nice and summery, and I remember seeing Summer at Beach street Bakery and thinking it looked good. A nice summery read perhaps? Good luck with the new position! And Down with the Shine- that’s another one I wanted to read, thanks for the reminder. 🙂
