Top Ten Tuesday is a meme/feature hosted by The Broke and The Bookish where we talk about certain topic every week and this week’s topic is most anticipated releases for the second half of 2016. So here are the ten books, in the order of the expected date of publication 🙂
First Comes Love by Emily Giffin (expected publication: 28th June 2016)
Letters from Lighthouse Cottage by Ali McNamara (expected publication: July 14th 2016)
I’m a huge fan of Ali McNamara, so of course I can’t wait for this.
On the Other Side by Carrie Hope Fletcher (expected publication: July 14th)
I thought that the blurb sounds interesting, so I can’t wait to read this!
The Bookshop on Rosemary Lane by Ellen Berry (expected publication July 14th)
Another book that I can’t wait to read based on the blurb. Anything about bookshops is a win for me 😀
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by John Tiffany & Jack Thorne (J.K Rowling) (expected publication: July 31st 2016)
This should be a no-brainer, right? I’m still debating whether to pre-order or not but I know I’m going to get it as soon as it’s released 🙂
It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover (expected publication: August 2nd 2016)
I just need to read another book by Colleen Hoover, so definitely cannot wait for this. 🙂
Down on Daffodil Lane by Rebecca Pugh (expected publication: August 8th 2016)
I just love Rebecca Pugh and can’t wait to read this 🙂
Return to the Little French Guesthouse by Helen Pollard (expected publication: August 26th 2016)
I love the first book so much and did not realize that there’s going to be another book. So when I found out, of course I can’t wait to go back to the little french guesthouse 🙂
A Million Worlds With You by Claudia Gray (expected publication: November 1st 2016)
The only reason I’m waiting for this is because my friends have been bugging me to read the series and I refused to start until the final book is released. (and would you look at that gorgeous cover?? omg)
Lyrebird by Cecelia Ahern (expected publication: November 3rd 2016)
I thought Flawed was going to be the only book Cecelia is releasing this year but when I found out about this, I was beyond happy. The blurb is kind of fuzzy in my opinion but as it’s Cecelia Ahern, one of my most favourite authors, you know I’m going to get this and read it as soon as it’s released 🙂
I didn’t know about the second release this year by Cecilia Ahern either. Looks good. It’s been too long already that I read something by Cecilia Ahern!

The Claudia Grey covers are fantastic. They really did a good job in general with the cover art for that series.

I’ve seen It Ends With Us on a lot of lists. Contemporary isn’t usually my thing, but I’m kind of interested now.

Praise Craig Shields (?) for designing the covers for the Firebird series! Such wow, much lust. I haven’t a chance to read it as I’m still on the hunt for a matte cover instead of the glossy version of the first book hahaha.
Cheers,

On the Other Side sounds SO interesting – I don’t read a lot of magical-realism-contemporary but I’m intrigued by the blurb. 🙂

I wish I’d remembered Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for my list this week, I pre-ordered it pretty much as soon as it was available and I cannot wait to get my hands on it! Also I think you’ll really enjoy the Firebird series, it’s one of my favourites but I wish I’d waited until the last book was released before starting it because the wait is killing me right now!
Great picks for this week! 😀
